And On To The Omnipotent!
And on to the omnipotent! A whistling
fear flying past me, pushing the air around
it so that it shuffles my hair. Here, on
the roof, this is where our futures will be.
Unable to keep eyes open due to the wind,
that self-absorbed wind. And here, make
that fear! Swallow it! Here, life gets no better.
The wind drowning out people’s voices, all those
words that mean nothing! All those words that
used to cut into you! The wind takes them and
puts them in its pocket, sweeps it away like an
embarassed janitor – “Sorry, don’t mind
me” – and you stand in triumph! No lights to
reach you, to blind you. No more passing each
day wanting tomorrow to come! Here and now and
on to the omnipotent!
